Frequently asked questions.

When are the festivals at Hip Gypsy Emporium?

We’ve been hosting 3 festivals a year since 2015. They are SpringFest, SummerFest in July, and FallFest in September.

How long are the festivals?

The festivals are from 10-5. Live music is from 10-4.

What is the vendor fee?

A 10 x 10 spot for nonfood is $50.00 and $60.00 for food tents. Food trucks depending on size will be $75.00.

What is the admission cost?

Hip Gypsy Emporium is very community friendly. The festivals are free for all who attend.

Where are the festivals held?

Hip Gypsy Emporium is located at 2168 Mont Alto Rd Chambersburg, PA 17202. They are held outside and they are rain or shine events.

When can exhibitors move in and move out?

All vendors can set up from 6-8pm the night before. The day of the event set up time starts at 7:30am and we ask that you are set up with only finishing touches left by 9:30am. There is NO early teardown. The festival runs until 5pm, if you must, once the band stops playing you may begin teardown. We also ask that you take all trash with you and clean up your space upon leaving.

Where can I park?

We have special vendor parking by the tree line. You will be directed when you arrive?

Can I share the space with another vendor?

We only permit one business per space.

How many vendors do yo have?

We limit the number of vendors to 2 per category (ie. tie dye, jewelry). We limit 1 vendor per direct sales and limit the amount of direct sales booths. Total vendors are 35-40 depending on the spaces needed.

What if I can’t make it on time?

If you arrive after 9:15am there is a good change you will not be able to set up. If you are a no show you will not be invited back and an email to the company you represent will be sent.

What should I bring?

Tents with weights, as it does get windy, tables and chairs, your wares you are selling, Square or some type of CC payment system, a hotspot may also be helpful as the wi-fi gets jammed up while the festival is going on, change for your cash customers (we do not have an ATM). And a good attitude for a fun filled day.

What not to bring?

A bad attitude. Kids, pets, or people with you that you cannot control. Also, remember you are setting up on blacktop, it gets hot, so consider this if you are bringing your pet with you. Use your common sense as what not to bring.
